Helpful Hints

Please review the helpful tips below before coming to take the TEAS Test.

• The TEAS test fee is $70, payable by debit or credit card at the time of testing. Please note that cash and checks cannot be accepted.
• Testing is offered June 1st through September 9th.
• Testing takes place in the MAPS Center on the second floor of McGee. Please arrive promptly and on time.
• A photo ID is required and must be shown before testing begins.
• The test is administered on a desktop computer.
• Practice test materials are available online.
• You have two (2) attempts to take the TEAS test per application cycle.
• You are allowed 3.5 hours to complete the test. 
• Students with approved accommodations through the ADA Office should notify the testing coordinator at maps@carteret.edu prior to testing.
• Electronics are not permitted in the testing area. Lockers are available in the MAPS Center.
• If you have taken the TEAS test within the last three (3) years, you may submit a copy of your TEAS scores to maps@carteret.edu.
